Make your arrangements to fly out on September 28. There may be 1-2 connecting flights, so making arrangements to get to Nairobi earlier is encouraged when we begin the tour on September 30.
This varies on every tour. We have done everything from ribbon cuttings on brand new water tanks we have sponsored to painting black board walls to funding libraries. Be prepared to bring clothes you’re comformtable having covered in dirt and paint so you can be ready for the unexpected.
At the very least, you need to get prevention for Malaria, but you can do the pill form of it. You should start taking the pills at least 2 days before traveling. Where we are going, most of the medications recommended to you will not be required, but you can always refer to your doctor if there are any shots they recommend you should get to boost your immunity.
